21st Consumer Fair opens its doors
The 21st Consumer Fair opened its doors to the public yesterday, seeing throngs of customers flocking the International Convention Centre (ICC) in Berakas.
The opening ceremony was held yesterday afternoon in the ICC lobby. In attendance were Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Paduka Dr Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, the Minister of Finance II, members of the diplomatic corps and several company representatives. After a recital of doa, a welcoming speech was delivered by the director of D’Sunlit Sdn Bhd, Dato Haji Danial bin Haji Hanafiah. The opening was then officiated by the Minister of Finance II.
The five-day Consumer Fair features over 400 booths, including 180 local and international exhibitors from Thailand and China just to name a few.
One of the highlights of this instalment of the Consumer Fair is the Thailand Grand Fair 2018 that focuses on bringing “The Best of Thai Street Food”, offering authentic and rich flavours as well as activities that the public can look forward to.
Another activity that’s garnering a lot of attention is the one-of-a-kind Giant Human Claw where participants can stand a chance to win various prizes by grabbing as many items as they can while being strapped in a crane-like device.
The 21st Consumer Fair is organised by D’Sunlit Sdn Bhd and will be open at ICC until 1 July, 2018. Opening hours are from 10am to 10pm and will close from 12pm to 2pm on Friday. For more information, visit www.bruneiconsumerfair.com.
