MixMedia Provides Mixel+ for the Ministry of Development Building
19th October 2020, Bandar Seri Begawan – Since introducing Mixel+ two months ago, MixMedia has been actively working with the local ministries to have the device available in government buildings in the country. The whole world is still going through a pandemic and though Brunei is more fortunate now, we still need to remember the importance of hand hygiene.
The Ministry of Development building is the latest government location to receive the Mixel+. MixMedia’s Deputy CEO, Michelle Lo, and Deputy CCO, Hamdi Matussin officially handed over the Mixel+ to the Minister of Development, Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Ir. Awang Haji Suhaimi bin Haji Gafar. Yang Mulia Ar. Awang Haji Marzuke bin Haji Mohsin, Deputy Minister of Development; Yang Mulia Ir. Awang Haji Amer Hishamuddin bin POKAP DSS Haji Zakaria, Permanent Secretary (Infrastructure, Housing and Professional) and Yang Mulia Sr. Dayang Hajah Norhayati binti Haji Mohd Yaakub, Deputy Permanent Secretary (Corporate and Legal) are amongst the attendees during the function. The MOD building is the 8th government building to have Mixel+ in their premise.
Mixel+ is a contactless hand-sanitizing dispenser that automatically dispenses a standardized dose of hand sanitizer through motion sensor, eliminating the common contact point of manual dispenser where germs can be easily transferred. The second-generation Mixel+ also comes with a body temperature scanner which automatically check and inform the person standing in front of the device of their body temperature. Anyone with a body temperature higher than normal will be immediately notified by the device. This new feature is in line with the current requirement by MOH where body temperatures need to be checked before entering any business premises or office buildings, and the Ministry of Development being the first government building to have this second generation Mixel+ located in their premise.
The internal auto-dispenser can hold up to 1,000ml and supports both foam or liquid type hand sanitizer. The device also comes with a built-in high-definition digital screen to display up-to-date information, notice, health scanned QR codes and any other static or video content. It also comes with built-in speaker for clear audio and WiFi for easy internet access.
It is definitely not the typical hand-sanitizing dispenser. Mixel+ is currently available for purchase or rental from MMW. Interested businesses or individuals can get more information about the device on MMW’s website mmwcreative.com or call their business development managers directly.
