The Launching Of Brunei-Muara Tourism Product Packages 2022

The launching of Brunei-Muara Product Packages was officiated today at Islamic Calligraphy and Art Study Centre Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, Bandar Seri Begawan by Yang Mulia Dayang Hajah Tutiaty Binti Haji Abdul Wahab, Permanent Secretary of The Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism. Present at the event were Yang Berhormat Haji Tahamit bin Haji Nudin, Member of The Legislative Council, Members and Representative of the Brunei Tourism Board, Deputy Permanent Secretary, and Brunei-Muara District Officer. In conjunction with the launching of the Brunei-Muara product packages, brochures were also produced that included sample itineraries that visitors can choose from or design their own tailor-made tours and activities through local travel agencies. The event also witnessed several ASEAN Tourism Standards Awards Presentations on ASEAN MICE Venue Award and ASEAN Green Hotel Award. The awards were presented by Yang Mulia Dayang Hajah Tutiaty Binti Haji Abdul Wahab to; The Empire Brunei, Armada Properties and Radisson Hotel for the ASEAN MICE Venue Award which recognizes their exceptional services and facilities particularly on Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Exhibitions. Then followed by the ASEAN Green Hotel Award to Radisson Hotel for sustainable tourism recognition through their environmentally friendly principles in hotel operations. A familiarization trip was also conducted for Media and Travel Agents, starting with a tour of Islamic Calligraphy and Art Study Centre Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah. This was then followed by a visit to Royal Regalia Museum in Bandar Seri Begawan, whereby media and travel agents had the opportunity to experience an interpretive gallery tour using the recently launched izi.Travel Digita Audio Tour Guide application. The promotion of tourism product packages will continue with the launching of Belait tourism product packages this Wednesday at the Tropical Biodiversity Centre located in Belait District.
